How We Approach It
The right level of assistance.
Before commencement, we clarify the level of assistance, privacy preferences,
relevant equipment, mobility or manual-handling considerations, communication
needs and any clinical instructions that affect safe delivery.
Who This May Suit
Personal daily assistance.
Participants who require prompting, supervision or direct assistance with personal daily activities.
Quality, Safety & Accountability
Competent and clearly instructed workers.
Personal activities are only allocated to workers with the required
information, competency and instructions for the agreed tasks. Changes in
need are escalated for review rather than informally absorbed into the roster.
Important service note
Requests involving high-intensity supports, complex clinical procedures or tasks outside the worker's competence require separate assessment and must be within Care of Australia's approved scope before they can be accepted.
