Service
Group and Centre Based Activities
Structured group participation can create opportunities for connection, confidence, routine and shared interests. Our approach is to make the activity purposeful and accessible rather than treating attendance itself as the outcome.

Participation in planned social, recreational, creative or skill-focused group activities, with assistance to engage at a level that reflects the participant's interests, communication style and abilities.

Support is shaped around the participant's interests, communication style, abilities and agreed service scope.

How We Approach It
Purposeful and accessible participation.
We consider the purpose of the activity, the participant's preferences,
group suitability, accessibility, relevant risks and the level of individual
assistance required. Activities should have a clear reason for being included
in the participant's routine and should not be presented as one-size-fits-all.
Who This May Suit
Structured opportunities to participate.
Participants seeking structured opportunities to take part in group-based activities, build confidence in social environments, maintain routine or pursue shared interests.
Quality, Safety & Accountability
Planned with the participant in mind.
Activities are planned with attention to supervision, accessibility,
participant-specific information, emergency arrangements and appropriate
worker responsibilities.
